Hello family, This week went by really fast. The work has been kind of hard but this sunday was a very fulfilling sunday for me. Both of the converts I have had in this ward showed up to church alone, which is a big step for a lot of converts. Then in the class, the man that we baptized gave the closing prayer. He has been telling us that hes not prepared to receive the priesthood and that he doesnt want to do it yet, but we have been talkingto him a lot trying to help him understand the importance of ¿having the priesthood. So in sacrament meeting the sustained him as an aaronic priesthood holder and we didnt even know. That was super exciting, then he also gave the closing prayer in sacrament meeting too. After wards they stayed for a training for something new that the church is starting to do. Its called a visitors center chapel. Like in salt lake or in the mesa temple,they are going to bring a 6 foot cristus statue and do the visitors center in the chapels because they don´t have them in south america. Its going to be a greatexperience and we are going to see a lot of miracles from it. Right now, since the conference we had on hastening the work of salvation,we have been working a lot with the leaders of our ward. We want to work in unity with the wards and not seperate. It says in preachmy gospel that the best way to work is, with the members. We have a new ward mission leader and he has a lot of excitement to do the work and I know that with him and with this activitywe are going to have a lot of success here in the near future. This week 16 new missionaries come in that were waiting for visas. There are going to be a lots of changes in the missions as the visa waiters and new waves of missionaries come in. Its going to be exciting and I can´t wait to see the work grow so much here. We´ll have to wait and see if thereany changes with my area in the next couple of weeks. I hope everyone at home has seen the hastening the work of salvation conference. If not I reccomend that you watch it and act! The Lord needs us all as missionaries. We need to give everyone the opportunity to receive the gospel. Everyone needs the opportunity to live with our HeavenlyFather. I love you all and I hope you do your best to share the gospel every day. The best way to prepare too is readinbg and praying everyday. Do what it takes and the Lord will bless you. It´s always going to be scary to share the gospel, but when you see the changes that takes place afterward.its worth every butterfly in the stomach :).
