January 28, 2013
This week was transfer weeks, I wasn´t in my area til thursday so we didn´t get to much done. I was reading conference talks though and I came across Elder Cooks talk, "can you feel so now". He states in there a quote about a man who says something about christianity and says that as people realize the need for us they will listen to us more. He then said, "If someone is sick, they listen to a doctor." I was thinking a lot about that and I realized. Our job as missionaries and members of the church is to be the spiritual doctors for every one out therewho is spiritually sick. A lot of people don´t know that they are sick,a and that comes to be our job as well. We have to be aware and listen to the promptings of the spirit as they come so that we can help everyone out there to realize that they are spiritually sick and we can give them the cure. My comp and I are going to be working a lot with that this week and hopefully we can see the results of it. We did find a girl who came over here from Bolivia and she is having a lot of problems right now. She said she will go to church next week, and we are going to be working a lot with her.
This week a 70 is also coming to our mission and we will be having a conference with him on wednesday. I´m excited to hear teaching from the leaders of our church. I think im really blessed with all the apostles and leaders of the church ive been able to see. Maybe one day ill get to meet the Prophet :) Well I love you all! I hope you have a great week. Don´t forget to read and pray every day! It´s really important especially now a days with all the trials in the world!
Love you lots,
Elder Johnson
